Take your next step with Steps Together
Finished school and wondering what’s next? Steps Together is a fun, supportive two-year program designed just for young people with support needs who want to build confidence, independence, and life skills. Starting in August 2026, it runs through the academic year in the welcoming community of Tiphereth.
You’ll get to try new things, make friends, and learn useful skills in work experience, cooking, household tasks, healthy living, IT, citizenship, and getting involved in your community. With help from an experienced project coordinator, you’ll set your own goals and learn at your own pace.
Each participant is also paired with a young co-worker who’s starting out in social care, so you’ll be learning and growing together, side by side.
And with support from Borders College, you’ll even gain Skills Accreditation, official recognition for all the amazing progress you make!
If you’re ready to take your next step toward independence, connection, and a meaningful future, Steps Together is the place to start.
